REDEX and ASUENE Sign MoU to Innovate Decarbonisation Solutions

REDEX and Asuene have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore innovation opportunities in the decarbonisation ecosystem. The collaboration will enable both organisations to enhance their value-add to clients and potentially offer through-train solutions, resolving pain points experienced by companies when embarking on their sustainability journey.

In general, an organisation may utilise several different platforms to execute its various decarbonisation initiatives. These platforms may not be integrated with each other and extensive resources are required to bridge data gaps between them. REDEX and Asuene will collaborate to enable a seamless user experience for clients on our platforms, reducing the man hours required to report and verify decarbonisation claims.

REDEX provides innovative technological solutions that enable companies to adopt renewable energy with ease. Headquartered in Singapore, REDEX is the developer and operator of Asia’s leading trading platform for Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). It offers a one-stop ecosystem for RECs, supporting clients through the full REC lifecycle – asset registration, verification, marketplace and retirement.

REDEX Founder and CEO Kang Jen Wee said, “The global ambition to achieve net zero requires collaboration across multiple stakeholders. We are delighted to sign this MoU with ASUENE to pool our expertise, resources and services, creating innovations and synergies to further enhance the decarbonisation ecosystem and renewable energy certificate market.”

Asuene Inc. is a leading Climate Tech company. Asuene provides “ASUENE”, a cloud-based climate platform for measuring, reporting and reducing carbon emissions, as well as AsueneESG, an ESG evaluation service for decarbonised and responsible supply chain management.

Asuene APAC Managing Director Masaaki Hamada said, “As a leading Carbon Accounting solutions company in the APAC region, we are continuously exploring partnerships with companies offering high-quality decarbonisation solutions. By collaborating with REDEX, Asuene will enhance our portfolio of decarbonisation options, providing even greater value to our clients in Singapore and across the region”

REDEX is excited to join forces with ASUENE. We look forward to a deep and fruitful partnership and jointly accelerating the global transition to net zero!
