REDEX Founder and CEO Kang Jen Wee was invited to contribute insights at AlterCOP, held from 11th to 22nd November 2024. With more than 150 distinguished speakers and some 2000 participants, AlterCOP is a platform to make sustainability more accessible and foster regional sharing and collaboration, with live updates, expert analyses, corporate insights and events open to all sustainability enthusiasts, practitioners, and advocates worldwide.
Jen Wee joined a panel discussion held on 15th November titled “Powering the Planet – The Role of Renewable Energy” where he explored the importance of cross-border grid interconnectedness and the role of RECs in accelerating decarbonisation in Southeast Asia. He also shared his perspective on how new renewable energy sources like green hydrogen could shape and transform the energy landscape in the future.
