CDP runs a global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. Through the CDP Accredited Solutions Provider initiative, it works with external solution providers who can provide support to entities in their sustainability reporting.
In this blog, we explore more about CDP Accreditation and how REDEX as an Accredited Solutions Provider can offer our renewable energy expertise to entities in their sustainability journey.
CDP and Accreditation
Sustainability disclosure is dynamic and rapidly evolving space. There are a slew of sustainability standards and frameworks, making it challenging for entities to adopt and perform reporting.
CDP facilitates the disclosure process with its questionnaire that helps entities to disclose according to their unique market and regulatory requirements.
To help entities navigate their sustainability disclosure journey, CDP partners and accredits external service providers under the Accredited Solutions Provider initiative.
To become an Accredited Solutions Provider, these service providers must undergo a rigorous accreditation process, with CDP verifying their credentials. CDP-disclosing organisations can be assured of the quality of services provided by an Accredited Solutions Provider.
The service providers offer a broad spectrum of expertise and services to accelerate the establishment of a sustainable economy. They provide support ranging from renewable energy and carbon reduction, to consultancy, education and training, and software and verification services.
