Held on 23 – 27th October 2023, Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) attracted industry leaders, governments, and heads of international organisations in the energy space across the region.
SIEW is organised by the Singapore Energy Market Authority (EMA), a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The week-long event seeks to serve as a platform for energy-related discussions and their impact on Asia.
Located at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, Redex representatives attended Energy Insights.
During the session on Enhancing Regional Connectivity, panelists spoke about how the private sector can work with governments to maximise regional interconnections and develop relevant frameworks.
REDEX also attended the session on Powering a Clean Energy Future, where the speakers shared about the transition towards using carbon-free energy sources and discussed the challenges and opportunities in working towards the energy transition in APAC.
Alongside SIEW, the Asia Clean Energy Summit and Asian Downstream Summit & Asian Refining Technology Conference also hosted delegates from the region.
It was an insightful event and REDEX looks forward to next year’s edition!
