REDEX Founder and CEO Kang Jen Wee was invited to share his expertise on renewable energy at the SMU Growing Infrastructure Course on Clean Energy. Held on 23 August 2024, the session was attended by nearly 40 senior public sector leaders and business executives from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
Jen Wee spoke on Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and explained their utility versus carbon credits. He provided facts and figures on the growth of renewable energy installations, and how this increase in sustainable energy supply is shaping the global transition to net zero.
