REDEX was honoured to be invited to contribute insights at the LATAM Conference 2024 held at SBF Center on 15 May. Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Culture, Community & Youth for Singapore was the Guest-of-Honour at the Conference, which brought together business leaders to gain knowledge and explore collaboration opportunities for Latin America.
At the event, REDEX Executive Director Zhaotan Xiao joined the panel discussion entitled “Digital Transformation – the bridge between Singapore and LATAM”. He highlighted how REDEX’s one-stop REC ecosystem is helping companies to adopt renewable energy solutions successfully, building on the trusted network and experience of its valued partners Instituto Totum and Fotowatio Renewable Ventures.
LATAM, with its abundant renewable energy resources, is an ideal location for companies that can turn renewable energy into more value-adding Green Products (e.g. Green Ammonia), both for domestic consumption and exports. REDEX seeks to position ourselves as a bridge connecting LATAM, Singapore and the rest of Asia for the seamless trade of such Green Products that can be verifiably backed by Green Certificates issued by #I-TRACK.
