Since 2018, REDEX has been developing innovative technological solutions to address the pain points experienced by participants of the renewable energy certificate (REC) market. We were honoured to be invited to share more about our growth story at an engagement session with students from INSEAD’s MBA programme.
INSEAD is one of the top business schools in the world with its MBA programme, producing the second-most number of CEOs of the world’s 500 largest companies. It has a diverse student population, with around 70 nationalities in any MBA intake.
The session was held on 25 April 2024 and introduced the students to Singapore’s entrepreneurship environment, including the venture capital landscape and its startups. REDEX was represented by Executive Director Zhaotan Xiao who joined a fireside chat that explored Singapore’s technology and innovation ecosystem.
During the discussion, Zhaotan highlighted REDEX’s innovation progress, our plans to scale up and expand overseas to Latin America and Middle East, and our vision on the certification regime appropriate for the global energy transition to net zero. He shared more about REDEX’s one-stop RECS ecosystem, and its benefits – enabling companies to purchase RECs, decarbonise and meet their ESG goals conveniently; offering asset owners a hassle-free REC registration process; and providing sellers with a platform to reach a global market.
