The China Renewable Energy Certificates Market Symposium 2023, organized by REDEX, has successfully completed on 11 July 2023 with approximately 80 participants from 50 plus organisations, inclusive of industry leader brokers, large asset generators, end users, multinational corporates, research institutes and state-owned companies.
The event commenced with a keynote address by Kang Jen Wee, REDEX’s CEO, highlighting the future of renewable energy certificate market in achieving sustainable development goals in China.
One of the highlights of the symposium was the dedicated session with representatives from the I-REC Foundation sharing topics such as I-REC ecosystem and CBAM with Chinese audience. Attendees were able to gain the latest insights into international practices, furthering their understanding of REC trading and its potential in Chinese market.
