Organised by USAID ASEAN, REDEX’s founder Jen Wee was invited as a speaker to the Promoting Green Innovation workshop held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 13 – 14 December 2023.
The workshop aims to engage with Green Innovation and Green Growth incubators and accelerators, while understanding the broader ecosystem in ASEAN that is nurturing Green Innovation and Green Growth.
The event was a fruitful one with many topics addressed, such as policymaking for green innovation and green growth, the impact of green growth policies on investment, and market outlook.
As a panelist on the topic of Financing Green Growth Startups, Jen Wee shared his experience as a Green Growth entrepreneur and the key lessons he learned while growing REDEX as a company. He also provided insights for would-be entrepreneurs who have a good Green Growth business idea.
