World Wildlife Day 2025

Celebrated on 3rd March, World Wildlife Day commemorates the day of signature of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora in 1973.

More than just an anniversary, World Wildlife Day aims to remind us about the fragility of wildlife and biodiversity ecosystems, and the need to protect these valuable resources as we harness them in a sustainable manner to meet our needs.

According to a report by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Boston Consulting Group and The Coalition Linking Energy And Nature for Action (CLEANaction), the transition to renewable energy will yield significant benefits for nature and the global population. These include:

  • 75% less risk of species extinction and biodiversity loss
  • 50% less land lost and degraded due to desertification, fire and coastal flooding
  • 90% less energy-related freshwater eutrophication that leads to dead zones
  • 84% less air pollution of particulate matter

At REDEX, we are committed to accelerating the global transition to renewable energy. Through innovative technological solutions, we enable entities to adopt renewable energy conveniently.
