REDEX participated in a carbon workshop hosted by the UN Global Compact & the Sustainability Alliance on 17 May 2023. The workshop provided an opportunity to share their commitment to environmental responsibility and discuss various solutions on practical decarbonisation and carbon management from various industrial experts.
During the workshop, REDEX shared about managing scope 2 emissions, which are indirect greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the generation of electricity, heating, and cooling purchased and consumed by the company. REDEX also shared expertise on how to use and manage renewable energy certificates (RECs) to support the development of renewable energy sources and offset carbon emissions. REDEX looks forward to continuing driving decarbonisation initiatives with the Sustainability Alliance and the community.
